QUMBI recognizes the important contribution that artists, youth and women make in their efforts to overcome poverty. They form a critical vehicle through which knowledge, values and life skills (e.g., personal responsibility, self-esteem, teamwork, decision-making and planning) are developed. We empower them to utilize and enhance locally conceived and sustainable approaches to change their lives for the better.
